I have had my true percula ( female), and regular percula
( male) in the same tank for about 5 months. The tank is a 92 reef, and has been set up for 7 months. I have recently realized that the male is cleaning the surface of this one rock constantly. I know that this is also a sign that the female can lay eggs soon. They are both perculas, but one is true, and the other is not. Is it possible for them to be paired up even though they are not both the exact same specie? Also, would the babies come out half true, half not?
Thanks,
