pairing up..

I have had my true percula ( female), and regular percula
( male) in the same tank for about 5 months. The tank is a 92 reef, and has been set up for 7 months. I have recently realized that the male is cleaning the surface of this one rock constantly. I know that this is also a sign that the female can lay eggs soon. They are both perculas, but one is true, and the other is not. Is it possible for them to be paired up even though they are not both the exact same specie? Also, would the babies come out half true, half not?
Thanks,

half true half false perc.
I guess that would cancel out and the fish would disappear. :

No, they are both percula clowns. None are ocellaris,
just one is a true percula, with alot of black, and the other is just a percula ( thin black lines, but not ocellaris).
In that siduation would half of the clutch come out true perculas and the others perculas?

They are both true perculas. The amount of black does not tell wether it is a true or not, it is the species it is from. In that case, all would come out true perculas.

ok, but will the clutch have some with thick black lines, and some with the thin black lines, like the parents?

Viper,
Would the eggs come out with perculas with thin black lines?
Or with only thick black lines? Or both mixed in?
THanks.

Also,
I have heard that breeding percula/ true percula clownfish are the same as breeding ocellaris clownfish, the only diffeerence is, that the perculas/ true perculas take longer to reach the size that is big enough to eat brine shrimp. So my question is..
would i have to feed them rotifers for a longer amount of time
then the ocellaris?
Thanks,

If you look at percula clownfish under the fish tab at the left side of the sight, that is how one of the clowns look. The one that i said was the true percula, has the black line in the middle of its body, touching the first line. ( much thicker lines.)

The "Percula" Clownfish sold here are Ocellaris. Ocellaris are commonly called False Percula or Common Clownfish.
There are only two species here that you're referring to. They are either Amphrion Percula or Amphrion Ocellaris, or a hybrid between the two.
This is why I hate the name False Percula. It just confuses the situation beyond all hope.

oh ok.
But the hybrids would come out like what?
Would every clown look the same?
Or would some clowns be percula, and some
ocellaris?
Thanks.

Cool!
So is it the same way like breeding ocellaris clowns,
except the fry take longer to reach a certain length, meaning i will have to feed rotifers longer before i can start with baby brine?

What does sterile mean? Got a pic of a percula x ocellaris hybrid? And would it usually be harder to pair up and breed a percula and ocellaris than 2 of the same species?
