so i just talked to someone about building me a 10 gallon tank with black background and built-in overflow, he priced me at 180 i think that is a good price? any one else agree?

Wow that sound like way too much! Call marine.depot and tell the you broke your aquapod and need a replacement tank. 12 runs something like $50 and $65 for the 24, both have black backgrounds, built in overflows and will come with pumps and a locline y splitter.

well i want a seamless tank for one thing and it cant be bigger than 10 gallons

okay, well that's a little different. 180 isn't too bad then if it's something specific like that. Why are you tied to 10 gallons? Most nanos like the aquapods don't have seems in the 2 front corners and 12 is awful close to 10 :)

well after having this eclipse with no seems anywhere i really like how pro it looks and just "clean" looking it is. i have to have a 10 because thats the largest my dorm will allow.

hey, maybe you can buy a ten gallon, and take off the brace. it should be fine for ten gallons and under. i did it with my 5.5 with no problems. all you need are some sharp razors and a box cutter... do a google search, there are a lot of topics on it. i had a diy favorited, but i cant find it now...

i could do that but im trying to stay away from glass because of the outcome of my last tank
