grandma=collects grandpa's (RIP) disability and all other associated payouts from when he fought in WW2. He also had alot of stocks and such which got transferred to her and they pay dividends... so she basically lives off money that was already invested. Her expenses are very minimal too, paid off house, paid off car, lives in a small town, etc... everything that could go right, goes right for her.
