get a second opinion on your tests...
sounds like your test kit isn't very accurate... are you using an API? if so, go for a nothing but net shot into the trashcan..

Almost. I think once your ammonia spikes ad goes down. Your nitrate has to spike. That's what I think and thtas what happened to my tank. Ask though to make sure.
how's carlos the snail doing

hahaha nice nice maybe so

also i thought i was kind coming out of a mini cycle. i have some good diatom growth and the levels have actually come down a little....
