Ok you PC experts make me proud, I try to run video from sites such as U Tube it loads f runs for 3 seconds loads for 20 runs for 3 and loads for 20 and so on. Used an online service to try to fix the problem they just scratched their head and said more or less live with it. I cannot believe I am the only one to have this problem
Anyone out there experienced the same thing?

Let me make sure I understand this...
When streaming content, namely YouTube, the video periodically stops while it loads... so the video runs for a few seconds, then stops for a great deal longer to load, then it will play again for a few more seconds... and on and on. Is this correct?
What kind of an internet connection do you have?
Have you tried any other video streaming sites, such as break.com? Do these have the same result?

Is the video trying to buffer yet? Push pause and let it finish loading -- might be you have a slow connection too.

Yeah Joe, get rid of the 56k dialup modem, you will be amazed at how much faster things get.

Have Comcast come in and check your external and internal lines. I've got ATT U-Verse, and I was having similar problems. I found out that one of the line conditioners on the outside was outdated, and was causing me signal loss. Then everytime my daughter connected to our wireless router and started streaming video or music, it would completely freeze every other computer in the house and all the TV's. AT&T techs came out and changed out my router, and the problem disappeared.

Is this machine connected wireless or wired into your router? If one, try the other to see if it makes any difference.

Like I said, I had one laptop on my network that caused the problem on the entire network. Doesn't hurt to have them look at it. They can do some diagnostics over the phone by connecting to your router.

I have comcast as well, and experience the same issue. Its not all the videos on UTube, but some. Extremely annoying.
I assumed the problem was on the other end, not with my comcast, because I have no such problems with other videos, including movies, games, trailers, etc. that I may watch online.

Have you tried a dfferent port on your router? You can also check the network adapter on the laptop ro make sure you are set to auto negotiate the speed at which it connects
