Cant seem to get rid of my aiptasia, use the joes juice and 3 more appear, I was thinking of getting a few peppermint shrimp. Would they get along with my coral banded shrimp? Heres a pic of the big guy.

I have two peppermint with a coral banded in a 120 and that don't even pay attention to each other, you should be fine. Hopefully you won't get lazy peppermints like mine though, they didn't touch my aptasia and just ate the leftover fish food.

never had a CBS,but I wanted one. and after research, I read that they can get really aggressive, even kill small fish and other shrimp. I decided not to get it.
But to answer your question, I think it's definitely a possibility that the CBS may eat your peppermint. Pepp's aren't the most expensive shrimp, so it's up to whether or not you want to risk the pepp's life.
A lot of ppl have CBS though with absolutley no problem.

I wouldn't recommend it. I purchased two peppermint shrimps about two weeks ago and then as soon as I put them in my CBS went after them. I couldn't catch them to get them out. A few days later I saw one of the Peppermints in the CBS's Claw. He ate it. Then I went on a five day vacation and when I returned I still haven't been able to find the other peppermint shrimp. Size of the tank is 75 gals with plenty of hiding places so the CBS definatley went hunting.

I have had pep and cbs together for a few years in a 75 with no problems.
If you want the aptasia gone I would definatly do it. It is small chance the cb will go after it.

I have a 55 with a coral banded and three peppermints . . . all live in perfect harmony. Unfortunately, so does the aiptasia - I have peppermints in both the 55 gallon and the 46 gallon and both tanks need my intervention to kill aiptasia.

I put my peppermints in as part of my cuc and just never fed the, They eventually ate my aiptasia. They will eat it. They just have to figure out its food.
