peps and clearners are two totally different things, cleaner shrimp refers to fish cleaning where pepermint are nocturnal and can be part of your clean up crew(CUC)

in my 65g I have 2 cleaner and 3 peppermints and they get along just fine.
What else are you putting into the tank?

Peppermint Shrimp are Cleaner Shrimp so I don't understand your question. There are many species of Cleaner Shrimp (Lysmata sp.), Peppermint Shrimp are one of them (Lysmata wurdemanni).

For corals I'm going to have softies and a couple lps.
As for fish I will have a pair of false percs, a six line, and MAYBE one other peaceful fish.

I'll take your advice bang. I was just worried that a 24 wouldn't have enough for all those shrimp to clean

Stick your "very clean" hand in there once in a while while holding some krill.

Careful with a sixline wrasse though, sometimes they will kill shrimp. I guess it depends on the individual fish, but mine will attack any snail that flips over accidentally.

Thanks for the advice. I not even sure I want one yet. We'll see what happens when I start stocking
