Yes, unless you are adding a buffer. You need to stop raising your Alkalinity or you're going to crash your tank.
With Calcium and Alkalinity already high every time you add more alkalinity it will just end up precipitating out of solution and taking some Magnesium with it. This lowers PH and stresses the tank. It's your tank and you can do with it as you like but I'm begging you to stop raising your Alkalinity with that buffer.
Set the buffer down and back away. It should only be used when Alkalinity is low.

everything looks wonderful, but if it was detritus wouldnt my nitrates be high. Maybe it is c02. What if i hooked up an airpump to my protein skimmer? to try to get more oxygen in tank and it will over take c02?

its an electronic ph tester just calibrated, my skimmer is a red sea prizm. Not the greatest but for a novice prolly good enough. The ph is the same thruout the day

What is the model of the skimmer? Is it the skimmer for "up to 40 gallon"?
