Any one having the same Problem?
My little fishes Phosban reactor every 3-4 days slows the flow down to hardly no water running threw it.
how do prevent this from happening?

Yours is a little different then mine....I have the 550, and mine is plumbed from the side
You have the water feeding it from the top center ..correct.....and going back to teh DT/sump on the left of lid??

No ive actuall unclogged it then ran it again and it goes threw just fine.
Its the fact that after a few days it starts cloging
but i just flipped the hoses and its working the same.

Are you sure there's not media making it's way into the line causing a blockage and then when you shut it down it has time to drop back out, and over time it somehow gets picked back up? Is it possible your line or lines are collapsing not allowing the water through?

The instruction sucked it wasn't that cut anddry.
But now that Ive made the center the in and the out side the outflow it seems that it would work the same but no way it can clog since the water would be shot up not down compacting the carbon

i have it going in through the side out through the center.
is that the prob
Well the water is supposed to go in thru the part that is hooked up to the clear tube that goes thru the reactor....then the water comes up from the bottom and back out
the media should not be stirred up enough to get in the Out tube.....the media should only barely be moving in the reactor

so this hole time i was compacting the carbon not making any room for water. Now the flow is not strong enough to clog the output the carbon will just fall.

Water should feed into the center tube and down the tube and be forced up through the bubble plate and foam at the bottom.
