That is a beautiful tank!! Are you keeping your salinity really low? I noticed you have nothing growing on your rock. Great fish. Where did yo get that black tang. Heis gorgeous. I'm sorry but I have to share soem pics of FOWLR. Well done on your 300 very envious. Regards, Tim
I am keeping the salinity in the 1.020-1.021 range. I had some nice algae and inverts that looked like mini feather dusters growing all over the rocks but between the tangs and the trigger they all dissapeared.
All the fishes I have were purchased at my LFS whcih brings oddballs all the time.
I do have to say your tank looks great and a very, very nice selection of fishes. Thanks for posting the pics.

Agreed, fish like these is what had me at one point pondering going to a FOWLR tank. Amazing.
Beautiful, AMAZING fish!
IMO...I dunno about microbubbles causing popeye though...seems to me the body would be a little more secure than to just "let" air in behind the eye.... Bad conditions, yes, bubbles,no.
Keep up the great work! (and feel free to post more pictures heh...I'm a little in love with your harlequin)
must be fun trying to get food down to the eel with that group of fish. i have a fun time trying to get some shrimp down to mine. i use rigid airline and sometimes end up with a miniatus or lyrtail wrasse on the end like i am fishing instead of the eel u have at least six that will steal a whole shrimp with no effort
Indeed it is "fun" to try to feed the moray but fortunately it always gets at least 3 shrimps per feeding. The Broomtail is the biggest pig there but he can only handle 1-2 shrimps at a time which gives ample time for the moray to eat as none of the other guys can swallow a whole shrimp.
Here is a pic of some of the inhabitants of my 110 gallon saltwater tank to hold you while I get more pics of the 300 gallon dwellers.

I am in Orlando, FL. Female Broomtails are quite impressive as well and they should eventually turn into males, or so I've heard, so you have quite a specimen there for sure.

Is that a Blueline Angelfish?? If so can you tell me about your experence with it. I am looking into one and can't find any info.
It is indeed a Blueline Angel. There is quite a good amount of info on the web but I can tell you they tend to be less hardy than most angels. They are picky initially but once established, they are quite easy to care for. Mine is very hardy and I got it when it was only about 2 inches long. Now it is pushing 3 more or less. He loves to eat the angelfish formula, mysis and even pellets. Gets along well with all the other fishes and is pretty bold at feeding time. Temperature varies between 78-82 but the changes are not drastic in the house.
If you have any more specific questions about Bluelines feel free to ask and I will try answering them.
Here is a pic taken today.
