SteveWeast,
Your tank is one of the nicest that I have seen! What type of MH/ actenic setup do you have? (MH Ballast/Watts/maker of your MH bulbs/Kelvin temp of bulbs?) I ask this because there is always a big debate on what is the best (i.e - iwsakis, ushios, AB, etc...). I am a big fan of letting my eyes be the judge and that is why I am wondering what you are running (since your corals have such nice color!)! Thanks for your help!

Attml: I run (4) 400watt 20K radiums on pulse start ballasts plus (4) 400watt 10K ushios on pulse start ballasts plus (6) 165 watt actinic VHO on Ice Cap 430 ballasts. I am thinking of changing two of my 10K's to Iawasaki 6.5K's....I think my tank is slightly too blue.

SteveWeast,
Thank you very much!!! Your tank was definitley one of the ones that inspired me to save money to buy a metal halide system! Although my tank is much smaller (55gal) I went with 2- 250w 10k ushios and 2 - 110w actenic VHO's( I am setting up the system tomorrow). Are your pulse start ballasts PFO standards? Thanks!

searcher is that a long or short tentacle plate?i also wanted to know if i could have either a pink brain or a candy coral under my 110 watt PC's plus 2 40watt No actinic 03's so that would be about 190 watts or almost 5 watts per gallon.I like the LPS and wanted to know if that combination would be good for any of the LPS's?
Please Help,
Logan:(

Logan, that's a short tentacle plate coral. The tentacles are fully extended in the picture. I can't answer your lighting questions. But from reading posts from this site, I probably shouldn't have it with the lights I have. Anyway, I've had the plate coral for 4 months. It always looks good and it has grown a little.
