Well, I found a work around for the quote problem in FF.
Move the quote down from the top, then grab the quote and move it to the top in editing. That will leave you room to start typing below the quotes. Of course, this is not ideal but it worked for me.
Sounds like a lot of work.. I may try it later, but I was still having the picture problem in ff too....
