I went to BJ's (kinda like Sams Club) and got a 2 pack for $11.99 I think. Its made by Gaiam and has "Pilates Beginning Mat Workout" and "Pilates Conditioning for Weight Loss" I love both tapes. The first is 30 minutes and the second one is an hour. And its not the boring, run of the mill type workout either.

thanks, I will look into it. A freind of mine loves her classes. She said if anything she feels much stronger (not in the obvious way.....you know what I mean :) ) I want to be able to do something without having to GO someplace. I have been doing great with our treadmill and the "whatever this thing is my hubby bought" universal machine thingamagig.
another friend of mine likes yoga, but I don't know..............to many things to choose from and not enough time. :nervous:

I do it. Yoga too. I love both. I have the Windsor pilates series. Kinda expensive though. Denise Austin is good too. She is a VERY happy person though. Can get kinda annoying. Especially if you do it early in the morning when you are dead to the world. She had good instructions and gives modifications of the exercises as well. You just have to look past the cheerleader attitude. Good luck!

oh how wonderful to know that. A friend of mine actually wants to go back to school for that.
Another friend of ours was laid off a few years back and went to school for massage. Wanted out of the corporate rat race.
Took a great job in Chicago working in a holistic center of sorts.
He loves it.

I do Pilates both at home and at a center, but I highly reccomend finding a Belly Dancing class near you if you want to go out to do your excercise. VERY good for the body, and good for the home too! :joy: :joy: :joy:
