OK ITS GOING DOWN, IM UPGRADING MUH SEXY AZZ TANK LIGHTS FROM POWER COMPACTS (260W) TO TEK5 WITH T6 BULBS I BELIEVE IT COMES WITH. NOW IS 4X54W GOOD ENOUGH OR IS IT THE INTENSITY OF THIS LIGHT ALL I HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT. AND DOES ANYBODY EVER HAVE, HAVE, OR SEEN WHAT THESE LIGHTS CAN KEEP (ITS 48 IN FIXTURE)

I don't know anything about T6, but I'm assumming they are better than T5 bulbs?
If so, Yes, I think you could probably keep most corals under T6 bulbs. But one question, how deep is your 80g? Anything 30 inches or deeper, I would highly recommend MH if you want all corals.

i dont think t6 makes it any better, but i may be wrong. i know nothing of lights either but my freshwater tank has t12s and theyre not any better.. its just the ending connection of the bulb which dictates the number

That's one reason I don't like MH lights... though maybe in the right size tank, with the right size MH light you wouldn't run into that problem.
Again now, I don't know much about the T6 bulbs you're talking about. Someone with more knowledge may tell you you can keep anything and everything you want with them.
I think you most definitely could at less than 30 inches deep. I just wonder if you could at 30 or greater.
You would probably have to put somethings higher in the tank to work against this. Which might not be a problem for you?

wow no direct answers here is scaring me, i mean i hear the t5 or good for not cooking water and energy efficient i mean if i need mh ill get them but i was gonna get t5 4x54w for just $99 plus tax im sure found a great web site

I would get them in a heartbeat, if you feel good about the brand. I would buy T5 over mh every day of the week. I just don't want to deal with some of the cons that come with MH lighting... energy, heat, cost...etc.

I dont know much about t6. But I know that t5 come in HO and VHO. There are some other kinds but they are useless. If it doesnt say HO or VHO i wouldn't buy it. Thats just my opinion though
