PJ cardinal question.

I have a 29 gallon aquarium with a 20 gallon sump that has been up for about a year. I have 2 ocellaris clowns and an orange spotted goby. I haven't lost a fish to this tank nor have I really had any desire to add another fish to it...
Yesterday I was cleaning out my skimmer cup and I realized that I never really get that much skimmate. The reason for this is because I don't feed a whole lot. The reason for this is because my tank is low on bioload. Since I have quite a few caves and nooks and crannies, I thought a cardinal of some sort might be cool. So I am thinking of keeping just one pajama cardinal. It isn't like the fish will die if it's alone, but what do you think about keeping just one? I suppose I could get two and move some of my LR to the sump to account for more space that will be needed for swimming. !Mi espumadera es muy peresozo, tengo recibir mas pez!
What are your thoughts on this? Thank you!

the clowns might not like another fish so close to them, in my 46g i have 2 pj cardinals and they usually hang out together and the clowns leave them alone.
You get get a purple firefish, they are nice and better kept alone.

Thanks for the input. Actually firefish were my second choice and luckily my LFS seems to always have purples.

I have had a pj by his self for more then a year they do O.K., but to be fair to the fish they do better with two or more. When I say by his self I mean there are other fish but just one pj he just goes about his business he doesn't mess with any other fish and no other fish mess with him.

I have four pj's and i was lucky to have 2 males and 2 females, they have been trying to breed like 4 times but i have no idea on how to catch the fry. these fish are so peacefull they dont bother anyone. i just wish there were a little more active.

Yes I agree, the PJ's are peacefull. Maybe to the point of being boring. I have both PJ's and the Purple Firefish...... I would go for the Firefish. They can tend to hide for days at a time, but are nice fish...... Here are shots of mine. Which looks like the more desirable fish to have? My vote in a smaller system would be the Firefish........
