I kept shaving brush alive for a bit. Then, my lovely lemon peel started to eat it which triggered the hippo tang to eat it and then the clowns ate it.

One thing about Penicillus sp. is they're notorious for going shocky. They'll die back and appear dead, but more often than not, will eventually regrow.

I have heard that with proper calcium suppliments these "hard algaes" especially halimedia will "grow like weeds". dripping kalk, diy two part system and the like.
just what I heard.
