Okay, my current nano of 10 gals is now 4 years running. All is doing very very almost to well or I would not be writing this.
I am running just PC lights in this tank and this is what I have:
approx 12lbs live rock
assorted very very huge mushrooms
large toadstool leather
small toadstool leather
green star polyps
small frag button polyps
red open brain
1 yellow watchman goby
1 firefish goby
1 blue leg coral banded shrimp
3 snails
live sand bed
So as you can tell everything is in my opinion getting to the point of being out grown this 10 gal. You can hardly see any live rock for the size of these corals that have grown all over them.
I have thought about selling everything to a friend and just keeping my FW tank going, then I think maybe I should not.
The problem comes in of course $$$$ buying a new tank is out of the question as hubby says my next hobby will be a job...
I am a stay at home mom.
I have for a short time moved everything into my 25 gal which is my FW tank and it was nice but its my lighting that is the problem. It has a canopy with one flouresent light 20 watt. Buying a new light for this tank is out of the question as hubby states. For this all to look good in a 25 gal means more live rock to be purchased etc.....well you see where this is going hey.
So I ask all you experts out there, what would you do??
