That's very interesting. Do you have a special purpose for building it that way, i.e. in wall, special area, etc.

How does it compare to the price of the same tank all glass?
Did you put in a build in overflow?

thanks , no over flow might add one ??,it's apx.125gl 5'x2'x2', cost...it will be less than a all glass maybe $150.00 less but the next one will be a lot less i have a lot of paint, wood, screws, and other things left over next time i'll use birch plywood no voids and i won't have to fill a lot of holes . and it's not a milk crate that it's on it's a yard cart so i can move it in and out when i work on it the thing that cost the most is the glass $185.00 next time im looking for a used one ?

Again congrats on the tank! <see glass thickness thread> Regarding the pond liner, the epoxy paint I mentioned on the other thread comes in almost any color you could desire, lot's better looking than a liner would be IMHO. ttp://www.aquaticeco.com

Curious what paint you used to seal the wood.
Do you have a complete list of what you used and how you did it?
Tank looks great!!!

Just a piece of advice.
Fill it with water and let it sit for a day or 2 before you put it inside your house.
