Polyps bailing out

In the first picture the zoos are out of room to spread. The edge of the rock isn't near anything. So when they got crowded out they fell to the rock below.
As for mixed colors, I agree that you had a mix before, just so small you didn't notice and then they grew. So whoever said that on this post before.. +1

Interesting thought - but I don't know that I agree 100%. Lois, I believe that this picture is of the same zoas you have - RDE or Radioactive Dragon Eye;

In the photo, you can clearly see the matt which connects the individual polyp to the colony. Generally zoas which grow connected like this tend to be harder to seperate, they usually have to actually be pulled or cut apart. However, as you can see in the photo, the matt between polyps can be pretty thin, so it is possible that they are simply "dropping off the edge". I still would be inclined to look for something that is actually pulling them off myself - maybe not even on purpose. It is possible that if some are hanging loose something as simple as a hermit crab crawling over them could dislodge individual or groups of polyps and send them floating about the tank.

Maybe one of the many emeralds you have picking, not very carefully, at some algae growing around them.

IDK...Thanks RANDY and HENRY....I guess I can't really do anything since I can't seem to find anything wrong

I took out the one with the orange again (cause it's a loose rock) re-examined.....I found nothing....but I did manage to make it mad LOL
I'll just keep a close eye on them....

No problem, happy to help. So long as you're not losing enough polyps to make the colony shrink, I wouldn't worry about it. If you happen to get a nice frag once in awhile, glue it up, grow it out and trade it off. I do have one correction to the earlier post; I did miss-ID the zoas, the picture I posted as well as yours (I believe, based on the one clear close-up shot) are RDE; Radioactive Dragon Eye zoas. I was thinking of another colony I had in my tank, then when I got home realized it was the RDE - sorry about that, but thought I would let you know. I'll also edit and correct the above post. My bad

So it would appear from you one close-up shot. Can't see the oranges well enough to say for sure - I'm still inclined to Reverse Gorilla nipples - if you can get a better close-up I may be able to say for certain.
Doesn't surprise me; around here right now we are seeing colonies of over 100 polyps of combined rocks of RDE and Whammin Watermelon sell for $29.99 at the local LFS. Prices vary depending on availability
