Mines about 6"-7" ...and in with a 13" PV Lion..
It's tough to get a pic of them "puffed"...
First off if they are happy and healthy and relatively stress free they just "don't" puff all that often...and it only lasts for a very short time...(hard to "notice it, then run and get the camera, then focus, and snap before they deflate...)
NEVER "try" to get your puffer to puff, just so you can get a picture..That is a bad thing..Do Not do it...
Mines only puffed maybe 5-6 times in the 2 years that I've had him...(or at least that I've noticed)...and this is the closest to a pic I've been able to get ...(on his way "down" from looking like a softball...He gets as totally tall and round as he is long...

Be careful of your powerheads because mine used to get stuck in them and that is when I saw them inflate.

yup i lost one to a powerhead once, so thats why i put those plastic golf balls in the bottom of the powerheads

I had to shut off my power head to day my mappa got in it, and he was so huge. He is normal the size of a baseball, but puffed up to a large vollyball. He has some minor rash but I think I was more stressed. I got a few pics witt the camera phone, I looks like a huge rock. I see if they are worth posting. I since put a rock below the power head. Never again.
