When we got ours a few months ago, it was the first time I had ever seen one in an LFS and I haven't seen one since. I wouldn't say they are common, but they aren't impossible to find. You might check with your LFS to see if they might special order one for you. Just FYI... our LFS charges $30 for one of these cool critters.
