On a sidenote, you really shouldn't just feed your little guy krill. There was a post a couple weeks ago of a guy who did that, and the puffer was having nutrience related problems. Well lack of.

Can you keep puffers with Corals?
You can, but the corals probably won't survive. Puffers are like dogs during their I'ma puppy I want to chew on everything phase. They chew on everything.

IMO this is un-true, I have had a large porcupine in my reef tank for several years, He is now over 11 inches, here is a pic of him about 3 months ago (note all the corals
)

Well i try to get him to eat anything else posbbile. He wont touch silversides or flakes or anything. Even when i soak the krill in vitamins and then feed it to him he wont eat it.
What should i try any suggestions????

Go to the seafood counter at the grocery store and get a few fresh oysters, clams, maybe some crab, try some fish and shrimp. My puffer LOVED oysters although he didn't really eat silversides.

Porkys are a little different, but you are the first person I've ever seen say they've had success with dogface in a reef, think of it like a vegan, they exist but I've never met one.

haha, I didn't even know that people had problems with DFs' until you said so. I would never have guessed it judging from how mine acts.

Don't get me wrong I am happy for your success, I have 2 dwarf angels that get along great no problems whatsoever. That isn't suppose to happen either. But puffers will chew on anything from powerheads to little fish and everything in between usually. I've seen a larger puffer bite through a powercord to a heater. poor guy. It all depends on the fish (as is usually he case) but for the most part puffer are not reef safe. Especially dogfaces and other larger puffers. I do what to try and put a GSP in a nano reef tank I think that would be fun, especially since naturally they never see corals.

Really? At the grocery store?? I think ill try the oysters and clams. but dont they come in shells? I should pop them out of the shells and thaw them out just like i would my krill and drop it in and see if he likes it?
