Is that a clam on the rock on the right?
yes it is, I think it is a squamosa, but it is starting to get blue dots in the brownish gold dots, I got it with the t-5 fixture when I bought it, and it has grown almost an inch

yep, it surprised me too, I just keep him up high, like I said before he is getting more colors, I have had him under t5s for about 6 months and he was under the same fixture I have now before then

I am actually thinking about trying another one, as this one gets bigger I am going to slowly move it down the reef and eventually hope to keep it on the sand bed, but that is not going to happen for at least a year

He is the second one I have had an it has never touched a coral, I actually saw my Powder blue nip one of my leather a couple days ago, so I am jacking up the feeding scedule, as for the copperbands, I would give one a try I have 3 or 4 friend who also have on in their reef and they do not touch anything, except pest anemones
, I have also had good luck getting mine to eat frozen foods
