Is this like a rosary? Where you hold it to pray? I think I've seen a hankie sold as a prayer cloth... Never seen a prayer THREAD though.

Sorry i guess this is not supposed to be serious, but I do pray twice a day and it works! I mostly give thanks fro what I have and never ask for anything but the strength and ability to obtain the things I want. I am not a bible waver or anything, I just believe in the power of prayer......Ok you can resume the "non-serious" posts...sorry again if I ruined you'r mojo

This is kind of what it was started for. I'm a firm believer that it works, but I'm not an "in your face with my religion" kind of person either. But the thread can be both serious and/or funny, I don't care. I kind of liked the beer post

But ya know the whole period thing in the first post threw me off, lol.
Theresa, you want another and the hubby don't? What to pray for is kinda different here cause while your asking for his mind to be changed, he can be asking for yours to be changed.
Try a different approach. Ask if that's really the path God has for you. If it is, it will happen, but if it's not and your asking for it, then your own wants will get in the way of his plan.
Maybe what you need is a prayer thread! Just send me 29.99 and specify which color you would like of my holy threads, lol

If someone could pray/think of me this Saturday and Sunday it would really mean a lot to me. I'm doing my scuba diving open water certification and haven't slept in days I've been puking and shaking I'm so scared...I haven't dove since December and only in a pool and now this...I have to do this for my marine biology career...I'm terrified, but I'm going to try. My flight leaves in the morning, hopefully I'll be alive next time I write.
