pristine traits for coraline algea?

ok, i will post a pic tonight, but either way, what should i do,, how could i over come the issues i have at hand?

what do you mean "harvesting" it? you mean basicly giving it a hair cut? i "trim" it up, every 2-3 weeks as needed.. i was told to keep it fairly thin? so thats what i have been doing?

Yep. That's exactly what I mean. When you trim it and remove the strands of algae you are exporting nutrients. That's the goal of the eco-systems.

Growing coralline can take quite some time just keep your water quality good it will eventually take off. It took me 2 months to start seeing it to grow and now its all over the place.

i don't think that could be an issue at all, i have 60 pounds of fl. live rock,,, it is a water problem of some sort, although, it has to be a small one, don't have any problems with the fish or inverts or rbta

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I've heard brushing your LR gently with a toothbrush, especially the coraline will stimulate the coraline to release spores that will seed throughout the tank. I dont know that I can see any bare rock at all anymore in my tank. I will try to get a good picture for you soon.
