Well, I took the tape off. The paint didn't peel, but I have a line of clear glass at the top just under the wood framing. Guess I'll touch that up with a small brush.

Well, here's a diagram I threw together. Note that it isn't to scale and the placements might be a little off.

The Plan

I plan on having sand, rubble and chaeto in the fuge. And about a 1"-2" sandbed in the display mainly for looks.

I updated the plan picture a little, I was rushed when I made it. Still no electrical work done. Grr.

Sump is 99% ready over at the LFS. I'm getting closer to putting some water in this puppy!
Picked up some essentials:

Gonna need this!
Getting all the water to my house is gonna be a pain since I don't have an RO/DI unit at home!

Here are some more pictures.
Here you can see the additional cutting I had to do to the Oceanic stand to allow for my closed loop.

Closed loop bulkheads
And here is a picture showing the overflow plumbing.

Overflow
I hope the electricity work can be done in the next few days... I am itching to get this baby started up!

I can't hook up the closed loop yet, since that pump and chiller are being used on the 29. The bulkheads/valves for it don't seem to leak anyway, and that is the big thing.

The tank is just filled with FW atm and still in the middle of the room. All seals look go though, no leaks in my newbie plumbing. :)

Sorry for lack of updates. Needless to say, it's up and running... here is a picture after 1 week:

So far so good. I need to cover the overflow with something opaque... algae growing in there.

Wax, thanks for all the updates and pics. Definately helped explain alot for me. Can I ask why you chose a tall instead of a longer tank? Personal pref.?, performance with that style of set up? Just curious. I have a 55 and would love to expand to a 90-110 etc. Thanks
