Most likely the "purple tip anemone" is a haitian or a condy, neither are well know for being a host, although some clowns (Clarkii's in my experience) will accept them. Did they have the scientific name listed?
I'm not sure what store you are shopping at but in order to steer you towards the right anemone for your clowns for the future, we would need an accurate name for them. There are no Sebae Anemone Clownfish. If you could post a picture, we could help you to identify your clown.
Not being critical but I, myself, would be skeptical about shopping in a store that has these type of descriptions of their livestock. If you continue to shop there, I would strongly recommend you brushing up on your research before you buy as it could save you a lot of heartache.
