It will work as an expensive Calcium additive. Be sure to test your Calcium level before dosing it.

If you have a reason to dose Ca I would just use a 2 part. PurpleUp is a waste I think...

Go to a high end grocery store and get "pickling lime" add some (not sure how much as I don't do it yet) to your top off water and you're set to go

I have a nano, and I use purple tech, a similar brand by kents marine. It also has trace amounts of mangnesium and strontium in the correct ratio. I test for calcium weekly and use it to maintain my levels.
