I am assembling the 90 gallon tank that I have been posting about. I think that most people put there UV sterilizer on the return to the tank. I was thinking of putting it on the flow to the skimmer. That way I could slow down the flow and have it be most effective. Is there any reason to not do this?
So the plumbing would be:
overflow to the sump and the heater
next compartment is one pump going to the UV then the protein skimmer.
next compartment is the cheto
next is the return pump to the tank.
What do ya think?
