Question On Mandrin

I recently noticed that the top of the mandrins head appered to be loseing color. Do they go through a period of sheading or is he getting sick :help:

Is there something i should do i dont have a qt tank and i just lost a powder blue tang to ich. if i need to get a qt tank what chemical do i add and do i just put the fish in there over night

what size tank is he in , adn are there many pods, how old is the tank?? maderines normally dont get ich

i just feed him and he did not eat for a minute he was lying there still i hove a rock and then he moved i just got some copper and am setting up a qt tank

DONT USE COPPER!!!!!!!!!!! hypo is MUCH MUCH MUCH safer, i think manderine do REALLY bad with copper

i doubt its ich. mandarins are pretty resistent to it because of their slime coating. what size tank is it in?

I agree with bang guy, he's losing color due to lack of food. Mandarins don't typically get ich because of their coating as JacknJill has said. Unless you're feeding him live baby brine or pods then he's getting no nutritional value.

his belly dosent look concave i put him in the qt tank and he is just lying there, his face loss some color and his eyes look a little weried
