Question on trading.

Hello, I used to browse these boards a long time ago before the website changed. I remember that discussing the selling of livestock wasn't allowed, but I'm pretty sure trading was. I need to find a good home for several fish (free) and I wanted to make sure that discussing this is allowed before I go and make post #2. Also if it is allowed, which forum should I post it in for the best results? Thank you.

hi if trading is allowed i would be very interested to know what you are to get rid of.i just recently moved and in this process my tank was wiped out.so know im trying to get it back.its ready for me to start adding livestock but at this point my funds are not there.

Trading is no longer allowed, however, in your PM you say you just want to give your tank away in the OK area, not trade or get anything from it? If that is correct, then I think you may let fellow members know that you want to find a good home for your tank with nothing in it for you other than finding a home for your tank.
If, the admins here have a different take, then this is the place to ask.
I'd say, go ahead in the meantime until admin responds, as long as its give away, and not trade or sell.

Yeah as Beth said, I'm not asking for anything in return... sorry for any misconceptions. I just want someone responsible with enough room to receive two percula clowns, a royal gramma, or some hermit crabs. The clowns are a mated pair and around 4-5 years old. IDK how old the royal gramma is. I'm going to college so unfortunately I can't take them with me and my parents don't really want to keep them themselves. If anyone is interested please PM me.

When I had to find a home for my tank (in its entirety) I ended up taking out an ad in the local paper. Found a very good home for my tank.

That sounds like a good idea to be honest. I think I'll make a thread in Fish Discussion where it will receive some more attention. Also are you still interested Meowzer? It would be pretty cool to have a moderator take in my fish!

I can try and post pictures if anyone is interested as well.

Wish I could use them.....I have clowns in every tank though :( and I can't add any of that to my seahorse tank
I'm trying to think who in that area might be able to though.....hmmmm....let me think on it. You have some time before school...right?
