Quick question about ich lifecycle?

My flame and foxface are on day 12 of 14 of copper treatment with no signs of ich. My main tank has 2 green chromis a xmas wrasse and a blue devil damsel That have shown no signs of ich I cant catch them with a trap. My question is that will the ich still be in my main system even though those fish dont have it? I thought ich will die without a host? I have not seen them infected, so no host, right? Can I just put my flame angel and foxface back in the main tank on monday?

It's still in the tank. If your Flame and Foxface are healthy and unstressed they can fight off infection.

So to be safe I should keep trying to catch the others? Any pointers without tearing my reef apart? The trap has been in place for two days with food in it. They are interested but they wont go in.

Actually it is theoretically possible though highly unlikely that there is no ick in your tank. Is the food in your trap the only food introduced into your tank ? Can you post a pic of your tank ?

Drain out all of the water. The Wrasse may bury itself so keep an eye on it to see where it goes if it does.

Just a quick question about Copper (Cupramine) I thought the proper treatment was 3 weeks not 2? Am I wrong.
