everyone always says that peppermint shrimp and a copperband will eat aiptasia.. according to SWF the raccoon butterfly will also eat it- has anyone had any luck with them? and why do more people recomend the copperband and not the raccoon are they harder to keep?

Peppermint shrimp and copperbands are much more likely to be reef safe. There's no guarantee that these two won't pick on a few corals, but raccoons are almost sure to eat any coral, clam, anemone, etc in the tank.
Don't get a raccoon if you want anything beside fish...they are monsters...LOL...Seriously they eat everything that isn't tied down, at least mine does, I am currently trying to figure out how to catch it so I can give it away.
Will mostly definately eat aptasia as anenomes are it's primary diet in the wild as well as coral polyps. If you have a fish only tank will be a great addition. Beware though if you have any clownfish for butterflies are there mortal enemies.
