Radium MH Bulb Questions

im pretty sure they are only to enhance color and supplement a little. they make a panorama strip model that is actually made to light a reef. Im sure these though will help just the slightest bit with PAR and all, but they seem perfect to get the color i want.

good question, i might get one for mine actually. I read a few posts on them saying that they would be good for the smallest of reef tanks but thats about it if they are used as the main lighting.

How would you mount it GIO surely you wouldn't just lay it on top of the tank?
edit: I just read where it says TO NOT USE directly on top of tank :)

well for the main tank i would just use the adhesive they come with and stick it on my canopy i made with my MH in the center of them. then for the sump/fuge just the underside of my stand.

Can you use these as your only lighting? Or are they only supplemental?
There is some experimentation going on here at a LFS on whether this can be done. I am following to see what happens.

I wonder if they would work on a refugium?????
Yes the white lights should work. Looks like they are 8000k.
