RBTA

On January 28th, I got a RBTA. The person that I bought from said it was propagated in her tank and that she has had the "mother" nem for 10 years. The lady said she kept them under halides and asked me my tank info. I was under the impression that her mother nem split naturally, however this is not the case. It was a slice and dice nem. Now, here is the issue when I first got the nem it was fine and planted its foot right away and would eat. It still eats, but it keeps roaming. I don't bother it. I just will feed it when I can.
My sebae is doing fantastic and so are my corals, including my elegance. WTH am I doing wrong that I can't keep a RBTA???
Params:
Ammonia: 0
trite:0
trate: 10-20
ph: 8.2
I'm not sure where it wandered to, but when I find it I'll post some pics.

can't really tell... Was it next to a coral known to use toxin warfare? Has any of your parameters changed?
It was near an acro, zoas, poci and not too far away was a leather. None of parameters changed. I'm wondering if my lights are too bright.

Unless you are sunburning your other corals, your lights aren't too bright. Has there been a significant temp fluctuation at all caused by the lights or inadequate ventilation?

My temp is pretty steady at 80-81. I have an open top and the water is rippling at the top allowing for good oxygen exchange. I'm wondering if the nem really handled the original propagation method, since it was "slice and dice".

It looks very healthy. I am wondering if it senses another nearby Anemone and is attempting to find an unclaimed area.

Good point! I didn't think of that. I'll see how it does in a week after I do a nice water change, hook up my skimmer and swap my carbon. If it doesn't find a happy spot soon, I will find it a suitable home.
