Thanks Keith. I'm sorta discouraged a bit because I don't see any growth on the sps. I'm thinking of switching out my lights later maybe to 3w lights. We will see ow that goes.
Rick - I got her when she was about 1/2" now she's the alpha fish in my tank at whopping 4". The way she swims through the rocks is amazing. I just sometimes just sit and watch it because shes very graceful.

Jack - Hello there good sir. I have been burying myself into my tank lately and it has progressed alot in a very short period of time... maybe too fast... but now that I'm slowing down because of lack of real estate, it's bugging me that I can't see any growth on sps. :/
Rick - Not too much actually, I am very fortunate but I don't keep account because I don't want to give myself a heart attack later. I'm pretty sure Lois can understand what I'm saying lol.
Lois - At least you have them, I destroy the evidence so that my better half doesn't know the total lol.

well it shows, I wouldn't wory about growth you said its been a short time, corals take a long time to grow. Th eimportant thing is that they are looking healthy and not showing any signs of die off, which they don't.

well it shows, I wouldn't wory about growth you said its been a short time, corals take a long time to grow. Th eimportant thing is that they are looking healthy and not showing any signs of die off, which they don't.

Well your the expert, I will take your word for it.
I'm looking to upgrade my lights later on... I feel that I'm not getting enough par on certain parts of my tank. We will see how that goes...

You are running T5's with LED's correct? T5's depend on reflector type (individual are best) and LED (1watt for softies; 3watt for SPS). Also on T5's bulb manufacture depends on how often you need to change bulbs, Kelvins and depth of tank for watage.

Yes, I have LEDs with t5s and reflector was built in but it's not individual.
I usually change my bulbs every 8 months. Always have since I had power compacts. When I measured par, it wasn't up to my likings so hopefully I can change that in near future.
