Its ok sip. It works. But remove all your crabs too. It will kill them!! Interceptor will be back on the market soon....I like to use it for QT of corals.....but i am out....

called every store near me and didn't have it. Murphy Law at full effect today. Also those are extremely hard to keep.

I got interceptors just now. (my wife just picked them up for me) and I'm devising a way to take out shrimps out of my tank.. my wife is very attached to ALL 5 of them.

Sip, the interceptor will kill off some pods too. I would reseed them once your treatment is done.

Just take your time and catch them. It's not like you have to treat asap. Get all the shrimp and crabs out, then treat.

Bio pellet will be safer method of carbon dosing that's more practical for me.

I have a biopellet reactor running on mine. I need to upgrade the pump, because from what I've read you need a moderately strong flow though the pump to keep them tumbling. They should tumble more than what you would expect to see with a GFO reactor. I'm running a TLF reactor with the bioplastics conversion kit (which, let's face it, consists of a couple plastic stitching rounds from Michael's for thrice the price).

I see, I'm doing some upgrades in my sump to simply things and to make more room. 2 in sump canisters are removed and I will be installing 1 BRS Deluxe canister for carbon and 1 tlf canister for bio balls. I'm going to go with 1/4 of recommended dosage to keep everything on the safe side. How do you like the bio pellets?
