How nuts are your shrimp when it comes time for food? I never had a hard time catching my cleaner shrimp when I had them; they would climb right up my arm when I was cleaning the tank, and they were the biggest bullies when it came to food. Shouldn't be too hard to make a coke bottle trap for them if you needed to.
I've also found that a clear zephyrhills bottle (the 1.5 or 2 liter?) is great. You cut the bottom out so you have in essence a big clear scoop. with a drain at the bottom screwcap. I've caught quite a few difficult fish this way and it seems to work well. You chase the fish into the scoop with a net or your hand, and since the scoop has such a wide mouth they don't seem to see it as much as a threat. then you just cover the main opening roughly with your hand, bring it to the surface, and slowly drain out.

I'm doing it with 2 coke bottles lol. My shrimps are usually all over my hand but not at the moment.. they are all running away from me for some odd reason. :/
Last night to try this.
Tomorrow night, I'm nuking the tank. Btw, txt me tomorrow to tell me what time you are coming over.

Caught one!!
1/3 isn't too bad.
As it happens, it happens to be my wife's favorite one!
Medicating my tank in about 30 mins.

Yes this is the one that I got 2,3 days ago lol.
Couldn't catch anything else. Im treating the tank as I type this

Red bugs eliminated. All of the shrimps survived!!! Woo hoo!!!!!!!!

That's good. You do realize that you have to treat again in about a week or two to get any eggs that will hatch? I believe they recommend treating up to 3 times.......

Actually, I was told that red bugs carry their eggs on them so when the parents are dead they are dead as well.
Im going to treat again next week though after my surgical procedure if I can.

Did you do that double-dose shot like your friend was talking about, or did you just do a single dose?
SO glad the shrimp survived! Happy wife, happy life I always say.....

Hey Rick, I did double dose because that guy is a wizard. A WIZARD I tell you lol.
I had a Homer Simpson episode though. I left the carbon reactor running. D'OH!!
Oh well, another treatment coming up next week!
No red bucks so far and tank looks beautiful!

Lol, you guys are hysterical! I put alot of new corals in last night and couldn't get good pictures with them closed lol.
give me until tonight so I can take up few shots to post. :)
