I also purchase a media basket from Intanks by StevieT...best thing I ever bought for the tank...
Top shelf: polyfiber filter pad
Middle shelf: Seachem Purigen
Bottom shelf: Chemi-pure Elite

Man, it's so easy to change all the filter media and the sponge or the filter floss. I change the sponges or filter media once a week when i do my water changes...the whole thing has a handle on the top so it can be easily pulled out...
Next purchase will be the tunze 9002 skimmer.

well for the red sea max...YES...becuase before the carbon and biological filtration were under the powerheads where you would have to unscrew the powerheads in order to even get to the filtration media and it also was a nitrate factory....lol
I don't know about the biocube though...
It was $50 i believe, well worth it...
