Got some corals today from a good friend but I am waiting until 2morrow afternoon to post pics so they are all mostly open...

I have never heard of a clownfish nipping at corals but mine was nipping at everything...

So today I had to take the pair of clowns out and back to the LFS

I will pick some other clowns up maybe next week or so I'm in no hurry...

So right now my tank is cloudy because I had to move a lot of rock out to get these evil clowns out

I also picked up a Hector's Goby from the LFS that was eating prepared foods already

I've seen the rsm stock lighting grow out some nice sps and not loose much color at all and those sps have been in there for over 16months....

So i tried the monti and birds nest...lol
I guess key is a lot of flow, no nitrates, lots of light and to make sure your calcium level is always fine...

My Readings
Ph: 8.2
Nitrites: 0
Nitrates: 0
Ammonia: 0
Calcium: 480
I have NEVER used any buffers at all just do water changes every week and my calcium has stayed at 480 with my home test and my lfs test...I know that sps take a lot of calcium so I will keep monitoring my calcium levels to see if i need a Calcium and Alk. buffer...
