Red Sea Max or Solana?

Hi,
I'm starting over again after two years of not having a salt water tank. I'd like to know which of these two tanks everyone here thinks is better?
I did read the RSM and JBJ comparison. I'd like to know if anyone has the Solana? It sounds like the person with the RSM is very happy. I'd like to hear the pro's and con's of the Solana.
Thank you for taking the time to let me know.

the solana is probably the nicest biocube on the market today, hands down, the red sea max is nice, but the solana is the tops from what ive been able to read about em. if you can afford its 800 dollar price tag go with it

Thank you for the reply

What makes the Solana better than the RSM; in your opinion?

solana has a much better light (150w MH option), much better filtration, has dosing units, looks way better.
This is not an opinion either, its fact!

Yeah i own a Red Sea Max but the Solana has more to offer such as the Built-in freshwater top-off system and you can upgrade it pretty easy with the sun pod lighting for SPS corals

I will iterate though that the red sea max is far from a throw away unit..
it is definitely good stuff, but if you're spending that much money anyway... you may as well get the solana.
hey cal, did you see the nanotuners 150w hqi upgrade that fits in the stock hood?
