I am done with the healthcare debate with you. You take the wait and see approach defense but dont apply the same approach to any of our wars. ironic.
However I am amazed a business man such as yourself can not see the number of jobs and revenue created because of these three...they may not directly do it, but between tabloid, reporters, television shows, movies, advertisement, ticket sales and so on, these three have helped create and maintain a slew of jobs. Yes, rich people create jobs....in many ways.Even stupid rich people.
The Lakers would generate the same jobs whether Bryant was there or not. You're really stretching it with Hilton and this goof ball reality scum bag. The guy was flipping burgers before he hit pay dirt.
Why would I apply a wait and see approach to a war, especially the one's in the Mid East? We've sunk trillions of dollars into that region for what? Several thousand American soldiers dead, hoping that "Democratizing" Iraq will make a difference? That region has been in a multitude of religious battles for hundreds of years. You can provide those people every American convenience and philosophy you want, and it will NEVER change the overall mindset of the people who live there. Once Obama announced we were pulling out of Iraq, the new President/Leader (whoever he is) started crying "We're not ready for you to leave! We need at least another 10 YEARS of support before we are confident we can manage ourselves." They don't want our military support, they want our money train. We could stay there until the dawn of time, and things would never change. They've been blowing themselves up on a daily basis, eight years after we got rid of their famous despot. If it's not the Shiites, it's the Kurds, if not the Kurds, then the Taliban. If not them, then it's the Iranians, Pakistanis, or Afghans. One of these groups are going to pick a fight with one another whether we are there or not. So what's the point?
