It won't matter what kit you get, all of them will be messed with. Why do you need to use an ammonia reducing product?

bben doing to 2 daily water changes on my qt tank and cant get the amonia down to 0 its at .25

How big is the tank ? Is there a fish in the tank if so how big?

hey addick welcome to thesite ive been having my handsfull with my setup its a qt tank emergencey setup for six fish doing hyposalinity. its a 54 gallon tub. i have 2 more weeks to go so im going to just do more water changes. ihave a bunch of posts about the whole process of wative been going through

I figured there were a lot of fish involved.... What's the % of you water change?

Do a 50% water change

Make sure your makeup water is decholrinated and aeriated and your fish will be fine

To answer your question ammonia products like Prime neutralize ammonia they do not remove them so when you test you will still read the presents of ammonia But it is not toxic anymore
