Hi all I have a 65 gallon reef tank I have soom hard and soft coarls some clams snails cleaner srimps and peppermint srimps
2 perc clowns 2 reef cromis a blue tang and a yellow tang all are happy I had a fire fish in there he died this morining or last night water prams are
PH 7.8 at night
PH 8.2 at light on (in the after noon)
Ammonio 0
Nitate 0
Nitrite 0
Cal 400-450
alkent 4
fish was fine yesterday moring eating and swimming around but went to hide. last night never came out to eat and this morine never came out to eat my wife seen it at the back of the tank face down. what the hell happen I do regualer water

The tank has been up for about 7 months. I just came back from home and the tank is cyrstal clear the clam mantals are wide open the fish are happy and play chase . I did some water checking this afternoon.
as of 12:45 est time
PH 8.0
Ammonia 0
Nitate 0
Nitrite 0
Cal 450
Akl 5
and the fire fish was about all gone thanks to the hermit crabs and the peppermit Shrimp.
Could it be that I have been do some reorganzing of the live rocks and it was stresst out because of that and he could not handle it. Or did the Low Ph kill him.
help I done feel like loseing any more fish.
