Does anybody put powerheads in a fuge. The only water movement in it is the return from my mine tank. I was told not to put too much movement in refuge but i think a little more in it would not hurt.I'm get a little bit of Cyano billedup, what can i buy, what can i do

How much flow do you have...("X" x fuge volume) ?
And is that "verified" or are you guessing...?
And How is it "distributed" or "entering" the fuge...??

I don't even know how much flow, the fuge is 29w x20h x 11d. The way i feed the refuge is that i have two returns comming from dt upstairs. one goes to sump area of reef sump the other goes to refugium. let me see if i can find a pic

I like the sump/fuge set up...
Am I seeing this right...pic 3 lower left is the fuge...??
Looks like a good bit of water coming in there already...lotta "surface" movement...can you divert/direct the flow to get some of that "oxygenated water to the bottom of your fuge...
Maybe an additional pipe and 45 elbow to get it to flow "down" and "circulate" rather than "across" the top and over the edge to the sump...??
29x20 is good footprint...and 11" isn't too deep so you should be able to get the bottom water moving and rolling to the surface with the flow I "see" in the pic...
You could "measure" flow by sticking a hose in the outlet and filling a 5 gallon (or 5 in a 7 gallon) bucket and "timing" it...Then do the math to figure sec/gallon, gpm, and GPH...
I'd say if your getting 250-300gph through that fuge you'd be doing good...

yes that is the fuge lower left hand of pic. so if i'm getting 250 to 300 i could leave it the way it is without adding the 45degree elbow. also i'm getting alot of bubbles in fuge. what can i do to eliminate some of those bubbles or is it ok to have bubbles in fuge. also i have two cleaner shrimps and a royal gramma and a maderine fish in the. is this ok.andlast but not least, i have a piece of coral in there that i do not want to get rid of, but have nowhere to put it. let me see if i have a pic
