No wonder she was embarrassed and didn't want to tell any of us. How pathetic of a story was that to get arrested for? Not even worth passing on to your grandkids....your future husband's "pull my finger" jokes will be more entertaining.

friggin exactly!!!! i'm mostly worried about how it's going to end up. probation? suspended license most likely. ugh i'm sooo stressed out.

Relax. You can still get a work permit, so that's no big deal. Also, most states allow misdemeanors to be erased from your record after 3-5 years. If you weren't on public roads or right of ways, you have a good chance of beating a DUI, at least here in Az and my home state of Idaho, if you are only driving drunk on private property, they always charge DUI, but can't convict if it is fought because you are not on government maintained right of ways. Heck, several TV programs have had "Effects of alcohol" shows where they drink and drive on private tracks to demonstrate the effects and can't be prosecuted. If Texas is such a commie state that they try to enforce state driving laws on private property, Arizona is just west of there.
