WOW ! Obviously some moderators - particularly Beth just can't take a joke with a response ! What happened to the Freedom of Speech ? My response was simply a joke and I meant no disrespect. Lighten up. Christmas is coming !

The First Ammendment provides that Congress does not have the right to censor public speech.
To my knowledge none of the moderators here are members of Congress and therefore have the right to edit, lock, or delete any posts for any reason.

I understand that. I took it to offense that her response was blunt and "sort of" rude IMHO. And then slammed the door to close it. Whatever happened to simple courtsey without coming off as rude ? I do love helping others in this forums with what I can do to offer advice. If this response offends her or anyone else, go ahead and ban me. I understand.

ohmigawd this is so over already. this is a private board owned by a private company - who can therefore make their own rules and censor whatever they like.

The rules are the rules. The first amendment does not protect private areas. You cannot go into a private place and say whatever you want. The same rules apply here. This message board is owned and funded by Saltwaterfish.com.
Beth was not being rude. She was simply stating the rules. The thread was not closed because of your response. She closed the thread because there is no discussion on the matter. No links are allowed to be posted here to competitor's websites and that is the way it is. That rule is not going to change no matter what anyone has to say about the issue.
