I have the same ones from the same store. A bit pricing, but nice corals.

Are there any other mushrooms that look like this? I have three that look like this, but they are mostly red. I got them for $10 in a LR tank. That is why I think mine may not be Ricordea. Maybe just something similar.

There are many types of Ricordia..........I have a couple of similar ones.

Mine must be Ricordia. THey have the exact same structure just a different color. I thought these things were supposed to be expensive? Anything special about them. The only thing I have noticed is that my giant frillys split a lot more.

Definitely a outstanding looking ricordia...I am currently considering adding a few new ones to my reef. I've had a colony of green ones for over 18 months that have done extremely well...

But I've recently decided to add a few other types...the pics below are from assorted sources...I've found them at various sources and want to try to locate these specimans if possible.....yours would be a great addition if ya ever frag 'em...

Hey..im from the rockford area also but goto school in dekalb...if you have any extra i wouldnt mind taking a few or if not thats oky also...im just starting my tank up so that would be a great addition
