I have a lot of things going wrong right now....and it's been really frustrating for me...

They sell them ready to go cuz they break the membrain in under a ro fliter before sending it to you. So it should be filled with water with a kinda crapseal in it. The reason they tell you to run it a little is in case it leaked during shipment. But all in all sounds like things are ok?????? But a gasket being off could be the problem and a shipping problem that they will trouble shoot. But like already stated will be a few days for a long weekend it is what it is. Hope its working out though. Really wish I can help but I have not seen this on my unit. I just know my problem was not covered under warrinty but they still replaced it for free. They are good but bad weekend for a problem. Timing is everything got to love merphys law

Bulk reef supply has a really nice one for $34. it has 2 lines, an incomming dirty water line, and an outgoing line. Very nice electronic unit.
I loved mine, but I made the fatal mistake of taking one of the dogs for a walk, and leaving the other behind....
came home, and the meter sensor was chewed up.
